Client approached us for
a package pump station to accommodate 55
dwellings. Site levels were provided to
allow us to calculate duty requirements.
Clients quite often approach
us with a request for pumping equipment
in which case we would if at all possible
propose a package pump station as this is
the best proposal for the client.
If depths or flow rates
do not permit the use of a package then
we would install pumps in a concrete chamber
constructed by others (See commercial
case study).

Pumps Proposal
Given the nature of the
site (Retirement Homes) then pumps with
an 80mm solids handling were offered as
these types of development can have a higher
solids content.
A chamber was selected
based on the number of dwellings and sized
for normal pump operation with a qualifying
note regarding storage to comply with the
latest building regulations.
